Each time a celebrity gains weight for a role, interviewer questions are all about looks. What she really should have asked her is: Don't you think it's dangerous to eat fast food for months on end? Don't you think it's dangerous to mess with your metabolism? Weren't you worried about clogging your arteries? Getting diabetes? Weight gain in these types of interviews is always about looks, never about health.

People judging Charlize for admitting she got depression for the first time during her career 😪 everybody is different, struggles are different, but it doesn’t make it any less difficult. Sometimes your work place can trigger depression, in this case her depression was triggered from playing an amazing role. Charlize is dedicated to the roles she plays, and it turns out amazing. She saw it was fit to perfect the role by gaining weight, but in the long run it affected her mental health. Don’t discredit her or dismiss her depression.
