Like all Jane Austen's, there'll be another, in a few years! Hopefully, they'll get the ending right, next time! The book was about the Parker brothers. Not the Colbournes, Lambes and Heywoods. Charlotte wasn't meant to be pursuing older, rich men, in big houses! She was supposed to be with Sidney. Who, by the way, was supposed to be the life and soul of the party. Not a guy, who bullied young girls, led them on and, then, dumped them! 😏

They should have only done one series, with a happy ending. With all of his wealthy friends and Georgiana to invest in Sanditon, he really didn't need to marry his ex-. He did the same to Charlotte, as Eliza had done to him! He would have known that she would be crestfallen! As the hero of the series, Sydney is unbeatable! Any other ending will only be a disappointment! Series 2 was a let down. What made this programme so popular was the chemistry between the two lead actors. That has gone, now. 😏
