Hard to disagree. As good a postseason matchup we have seen in this county in quite awhile.

Surprisingly though Weddington is a lot higher ranked in state then Marvin Ridge. And they got lucky vs Catholic because their star running back was out for the season.

@@paxdog2398 not too surprised that Weddington is ranked much higher with their past success. 2 losses in 3 years with 2 state titles. Wasn't aware Catholic lost their RB but this game was all about MR digging down and making it happen in the 2nd half, not really even a huge meltdown by Catholic as I expected when I started watching the highlights

Yeah. MR’s quarterback just kept running for 1st downs which kept them in the game. It wasn’t really our offenses fault but having our starting running back would of helped a little. More of a defensive collapse by Catholic and relying too much on our kicker who missed a FG and some extra points.
