Look at Clingan's stats for this past season and they mirror another big that was drafted way too high: Cody Zeller. Hornets have already been down this road. Trade Bertran's contract as it will be valuable to other cap stressed or taxed teams. Micic sign and trade to the Kings for backup point guard Davion Mitchell. Curry doesn't fit the team's time-line so need to pass on the team option for his final year. Draft, if lucky enough, Sarr, Researches, Buzelis or Williams. Grab PJ Hall in the 2nd round. Bridges will most likely be back. Hold onto Poku, Thor, and NSJ. Bailey is a wild card sleeper

We should 100% keep Miles Bridges if he wants to stay in Charlotte on a reasonable contract. $25 million a year would be a fair price considering he’s been a cornerstone of the Hornets for the past few years and plays well with LaMelo. I watched the Pistons a lot this past season, second only to the Hornets. Quentin Grimes had some injury issues and was underwhelming to say the least when he was playing. Of all the young talent on the Pistons roster, we’re going to give a consistently good veteran like Miles Bridges for Quentin Grimes and another a minor role player? I mean it’s better than letting him walk away for nothing if he wants out of Charlotte but what a steal that would be for the Pistons! Somebody call 911, I’d like to report a robbery!

Love Mj but he needed to take Charles Barkley’s advice a long time ago he really drove this franchise into the ground. So many L’s it would be a never ending list. I’m a fan of the Hornets but I’m gonna be honest we were the worst team from the 23-24 season. injuries yes. but come on losing 3 times to the damn pistons. According to the media the worst team and all that. 3 games 3 losses. A bitch-made team that has needed an identity for wayy too long. We need to not play like savages but be savages. We need a roster that doesn’t just rely on lamelo being healthy its a reality that he won’t play 60 games next season if you are smart you give him a minute and game per week restriction so he doesn’t get re injured but desperation causes bad decisions.
