As the publishers of CM-inspired curriculum for almost 30 years, we're always excited to see how others use the CM methods in their own homeschools. Thanks for sharing with us!

My work requires me to interpret technical information to higher level more easy to understand summaries for supervisors that need info that is short, direct, and recommendation/discussion time. As you likely already know, this is a skill that is very relevant and applicable to real life and for me imperative to being able to understand material. Maybe doing an interpretation narration from different characters perspectives may also prove to be quite helpful in overall analysis of the story.

I'm really looking forward to using the narration cards! What a creative/clever way for kids to engage in retelling a story. On a side note, I had a quick question about your Jan Brett Unit Study...do you think it could be tailored for older kids who love Jan Brett like a 9 and 11 yo (eek!)?

Thank you! Yes, I think a 9 and 11 year old could use the Jan Brett unit! I'm considering doing it this winter with my 11 year old, just because I miss reading picture books with her. Especially if they are Jan Brett fans! Go for it!

Well done! Thanks so much! How often do you narrate through the week?
@ARRRGHSchooling

I try to have them narrate something daily. Sometimes it's very laid back and casual, sometimes it's a project-based narration (think illustrating a favorite scene or acting it out), and for my older children it is often written.

"A little kid crab walks sideways," is the first part. Not too sure about the rest, but I think it sounds something like, "The mother never can teach him."
