So glad to see 2N demoed. That is the shade I am as well. I apply with the Rare Beauty foundation brush. I also have extra dry areas. Mine are around my nostrils and my marionette lines and chin. It's not perfect on those areas but the overall look of this foundation is more medium full coverage on me but glowy. Not greasy at all. Also, if I want to amp up the glow (shine) I use the CT setting spray. WOW! glass skin! Also Rare Beauty Pinch blush works very well with this foundation. I use the Rare Beauty concealer brush to smooth away creasing under the eyes. It definitely creases. And I try not to look into my magnifying mirror too much or I will wash it all off. 😄 From afar it is lovely. Up close, not so beautiful. I am 56 and dry skinned and have success with Kosas Oil Tint and L'Oreal Tinted Serum. Have you tried the Chanel Water Tint? (would like to hear your thoughts) I am currently awaiting the new Shiseido Synchro Tint and hopeful it may work better. *This was my first CT foundation. I have tried several other of her products but do not feel like they like me. Eyes to Mesmerize [Oyster] blurred my eyes so badly I had to wash my entire face off. It was scary! My eyes were so sore and swollen for several days afterward. That pressed powder I was not a fan of, years ago. The brow gel was way too dark sadly because I loved the applicator. The setting spray is shiny but smells a bit funky. And all the rage over her lipsticks is lost on me. Every sample I tried besides one red shade pulled so much orange, it was bizarre. Thank You for articulating how it wears, up close. I agree 100%. From afar it looks very good. It does NOT feel hydrating. Personally I feel this is a short wear, nighttime foundation. Maybe a romantic candlelight dinner. For daytime not so much. *Sort of like wearing huge false lashes during the daytime looks silly. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I live in the forever humid state of FL. Thank you for this! I have dry skin too and I'm experiencing all that you've mentioned unfortunately. I tried it for one week, one day it looks fine, then the next I;m not happy with it. I sprayed mist too to see if it helps - it hydrates but didn't improve the foundation especially around the sides of my nose. But I will give it a try again in less cold months. :)
