I'm 37 and my skin is pretty normal, sometimes with a slightly oily nose! I also have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I DO NOT use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have olive skin. My face is often a LOT lighter than my body because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Hi all, just a note on wear time as I've had a few questions! I don't wear my makeup especially long (6-8hrs) and I don't live in a very challenging climate but makeup wears beautifully on top of the primer and didn't get greasy or cause any issues throughout the day 🥰🥰🥰

Hey Charlotte, gorgeous looking as always. Just to ask if you’re wearing your summer shade in CDP foundation or the winter one please? I’m going to buy a summer shade but I’m not sure if I should go with the B40 or not. You’re a bit more tanned than I am,but I do tan quite well during the summer months and you use O40 …decisions decisions…😀😀

The side that has the primer looks smoother than the other side, definitely gives more of a hydrated without looking shiny look to the face. To me it seems like it made the makeup last longer too.

I had to turn the brightness up, but I think I can tell a difference. Idk if it’s your lighting or just your great skin, but both sides looked glorious.

I would say the primer side definitely looks more hydrated which I think is also making it look a bit smoother because of that.

Not for me, I really dislike makeup products that try to do double duty, with all the new lab testing being made on sunscreens showing they don't have almost any protection or they are contaminated, it just reinforced the fact that using a good sunscreen underneath makeup is always the best. you're always lovely Charlotte ❤️

I just got mine out again to try it and did half face. It’s quite glowy and it shows up texture more than the plain other side. After a few hours it of wearing it I’m shiny and greasy looking.

Well, there's some claims there!... I must admit, the side you applied primer imo did look smoother, so, so far impressed. It will be interesting to have a further update when you've used the primer for a while. Thinking of updates, have you used the caffeine eye gel from beautylish yet?

I’m wary of makeup products with SPF in them because people generally don’t apply enough to actually get proper coverage and sun protection. It did make the skin look smoother but I would still wear SPF with it.

I bought it and I was so excited! True, it does the job but after using it my face was covered with blemishes… Probably it’s no good for my dry skin, to heavy I guess… I will have to give it to someone who will enjoy it… Very disappointed… I am happy that it works for you xxx

Imo, it's better to buy a sunscreen and primer separate, since (I assume) most people won't apply the amount of sunscreen that's recommended (which was 1,25ml off the top of my head?). And I can't imagine that people will slather that amount of expensive product over their face since you'd run out of it so quickly. I have some great affordable Korean sunscreens that are practically invisible that I buy from Yesstyle which are mostly under €15 and then after that has set a bit you can add primer on the areas that need the primer so you'd use way less product!

Yes "fragrance free" basically means perfume free, not that it doesn't have any smell x

Yup! For all the claims on the website, it looks to me like a pretty standard spf. The "pollution control" is nonsense as far as I am concerned (their "proof" is their own testing, so your mileage may vary). The sunscreens are all standard FDA approved ones (unless I missed something while googling!) and so it should be coming to the USA as soon as they have an approved lab test for the spf 50 claim of the formulation. Note: just a consumer here and not a chemist or derm, so this is purely my own opinion (before anyone jumps down my throat!).

Surely it can only be SPF 50 if you use 1/2 teaspoons on face an neck. That tube would be used up in a week 😂. I would love to know how much they say you should use to actually get SPF 50 protection. I’ve used this product and it’s definitely not a protective sunscreen. My skin doesn’t feel protected with just that on. I honestly don’t feel they should be advertising that as a 50+ protection when as a primer you usually only use a little amount of it

Sorry Charlotte, I couldn't see a difference but who knows, in real life I may have done. I think the differences would, perhaps, become more noticeable as the day goes on 🤷‍♀️. Did it wear well?
