If there is one spill or food crumbs in my refrigerator it drives me CRAZY! Has to be dealt w/immediately. What I hate is when sometimes liquids get UNDER the glass, and there is nothing to do,but, take everything apart and to the sink it goe!

Good Morning, Tiffany! You are just "Suzy Homemaker!" LOL! I guess you are the official host now! How many people will be coming. We use to rotate. Every year we would go to a different sister- i- laws home and bring several dishes that way it wasn't on one person. Since I lost my husband last year, they don't include me , so it will be just me, my daughter and granddaughter. I will cook a Turkey breast as my granddaughter is vegetarian, but we will have all the fixings. Tiffany as always, I enjoy watching you so much. I have a suggestion for you and your viewers. I get those thin plastic chopping sheets. I think Dollar Tree has them I've seen them other places as well. I place those on my shelves of my refer or I got some plastic shelf liner for cupboards or drawers and I cut them to fit my refer glass shelves. It is easier to clean those in a dish pan. I also line those shelves that are on your refer drawers. Then all I have to clean regularly and take out are my crisper drawers and I've got the liners in them as well or my meat /cold cut drawer.

@@CharlotteGroveFarmhouse I can't remember where I saw that idea somewhere. but I use that ribbed clear plastic shelf liner I get a huge roll from Home Depot and I cut it to fit the glass shelves when they're soiled I just remove them from the shelf put them into a dishpan of soapy water and wash them dry and put them back into my refer. it keeps the glass shelves a lot cleaner. I do notice a bit more condensation on the shelves but its nothing to wipe with paper towels. Those little door shelves I line them as well. I even did it in my RV refer, my 2 refers one on my deck the other in my shed. Saves a lot of cleaning that is for sure. I'll be interested to learn how you like them in your refer. Anything that cuts down on cleaning is okay with me. I've better things to do then clean my refer.

I am pretty obsessed about keeping my frig and freezer clean and organized. I clean mine, well, wiped down daily. I’m really strict about not tossing food. Sometimes my husband has leftover night where he gets all the random leftovers. I also freeze portions of things I cook and bake. I’m hosting thanksgiving too. I absolutely love it. I get comfy and spend the day in the kitchen. My husband will help clean. It’s a fun day for me.

I went to Dollar General recently and spied gold flatware! I'm eyeballing it for my dinner table as well. I haven't been to a Target since I opened our new store (licensed Optician/GM for Visionworks) and there's one right down the street, but we are adjacent to a Meijer store and they have lovely items for this type of thing. Might do some from both! We must be on the same wavelength, I was just thinking about cleaning out my refrigerator this morning! I have 2 of them, so that's a daunting chore, not looking forward to that one. Think I'll save that project for my upcoming vacation. Thanks (I think ;) for the inspo!

You are lucky with such a great Walmart experience. I was a plus member, I’ve never received those paper bags, just thin plastic bags that get thinner with each order. Then I had missing items almost every delivery, even have outside video footage of a delivery driver going through the trunk of her car for over 10 minutes before bringing my order to the door, was missing in upwards of $25 just that day alone. Couldn’t get customer service to handle any of my issues so finally had to cancel and start going back to the grocery store to shop. Very disheartening to say the least. Yes, it definitely can fill quickly. I try not to have a second fridge because they really are a big energy user, but I think we are approaching that.
