I've never tried anything from her brand. I'm also going to take a look at the Visiart palettes. I LOVE a fabulous eyeshadow palette. My biggest fail in that category for the year was the Patrick Ta Major Dimension II Rose palette. The shadows had HORRIBLE fall out. Just awful. I've used it about 3-4x and am giving it away. Marlena Snell is amazing. She has such incredible knowledge, sincerity and attitude ... love her!

Agree!! Her produces are great but her public relations are outstanding! When i had a problem with a lipstick and then later with the tube blushes, they not only refunded me immediately, but they replaced the produces free. They were thoughtful and polite and interested in my opinion. They were first rate!❤

For me, Lisa Eldridge is the 2024 overall winner. I love the Liquid Silks, but mainly the *genuine* attention to recyclability of her lipstick tubes makes me praise her highest. A lot of other brands have claimed that they are giving attention to issues around wastefulness and harm to environment, but it is not genuine and in fact some of their recyclable components create more waste, and they have been using it as a selling point only.

I’m so pleased that you gave a shout out to Marlena and her new launch of Marstè!i I just received the sample set but haven’t tested them yet. The layering Esscence Vanille took my summer scents to a fall/winter treat. I absolutely agree that Lisa Eldridge was the top! My top newcomer would be Ravie Beauty! My top old dog with new tricks would be Dior-loved the foundation stick, contour, eyeliners, and both varieties of cream luminizers/highlights.

Great Yearly Awards for 2024 this year Charlotte! I think we need to give you an award for all of your outstanding videos and fantastic content! I look forward to so many of your videos especially your monthly Movje videos! I have watched some incredible movies this year that I wouldn’t have necessarily thought of without you. Also your outstanding reviews, your honesty, kindness and definitely your humor! You have always brought so much joy and a smile to my face for years now. So bravo to you beautiful ☺️💜 Lisa Eldridge definitely deserves the award for the best brand! The innovation, the passion, the customer service and certainly the products are outstanding! The kitten mascara, the liquid eyeshadows were my personal favorite! I want all of it and I’m very excited to see what the brand has up their sleeves for 2025! Viseart has always been one of my favorite eyeshadow brands. I don’t know why they are so underrated? I think if they were available inside a Sephora, Ulta, Boots somewhere where you could physically touch and see their palettes they would be ultra popular! I feel they would be right up there with Natasha Denona, Pat McGrath and Dynessa Myrick’s and Charlotte Tilbury. The newest Sireneuse Etendu palette is stunning ✨ I loved your review! There doing something right because I can’t get my hands on that palette. I have quite a few Viseart palettes in my collection and I adore them all! Another brand that is popular but a bit underrated in my opinion is Vieve! The products I own are some of my favorites! The quality keeps getting better and better with each release. I think 2025 is going to be a big year for Jamie and Vieve! I almost purchased the Basma foundation stick this year but I went with the Merit foundation/concealer stick. I love 💗 the story behind the brand! I will definitely be giving them a try this year! Viseart simply is the best everyday eyeshadow brand with a twist. Their shadows are so easy to use yet they also offer some interesting bite sized pallettes to explore some colors. For an average middle-aged lady they are fabulous!

The Lisa Eldridge Rouge Experience launch really amazed me 😍 I bought it as a birthday gift to my adored sister and she absolutely loved it ❤️ I found her launch video very informative, bc up till then I assumed that all refillable lipsticks were recyclable!! I've always lusted after the gorgeous Guerlain refillable lipsticks 💄 but since their decision to create new refills for new cases which on purpose are not compatible with the old cases it put me off gifting it to my lovely sister. It felt much more satisfying buying the LE one. I was pleasantly surprised by the price too bc the case + 100% recyclable refill + the initials were less expensive than the huge brand that is Guerlain!! I really hope Lisa won't sell her brand bc she brings so much elegance and sincerity to the makeup world. What a classy, generous and knowledgeable woman 😍

Great list, Charlotte! I wish I could get the Lisa Eldridge eyeshadows. The colour I want, Ione, has been sold out almost from the day they launched. That's the one frustration I have with her products - they are very slow, if ever, to restock items. When something sells so quickly, you'd think they'd realize the potential and get it back on the market ASAP!

Totally agree. I had to wait what seemed like months (although it possibly wasn't) for her Skin Tint to be restocked in my colour, as well as a True Velvet lipstick, and I'm still waiting for the Fawn eye shadow palette to come back into stock. Patience isn't always my thing 🙄!

Lisa Elderidge has began to replace everything in my top drawer. I have other brands but I am just rarely using them. The LE skin tint is my favourite product this year. And I pretty much buy everything she launches. They are also the products that my early 20s and teen daughters choose to borrow/steal which is a huge compliment to the brand.

I did not care for the new LE lipstick…I bought one shade and didn’t feel that most of the shades worked for me. i thought the new Nars lipstick was more of a standout, personally. Bobbi brown has great eye and lip products. LE liquid silk is amazing as you say, so smooth and not drying! For me it was INAN palette that made me use much more powder eyeshadows as I basically used only cream shadows, I just love this palette, the best discovery of the year! Happy New Year Charlotte!

Their quints are incredible (created by Lisa of course), super buttery smooth, improved quality. The complexion products, awesome blushes, lip products (the lip pencils are phenomenal)… fragrance, skin care- amazing (my favorites are the Nutrix royal body cream and the face triple serum). For me- the rediscovery and the brand of the year 🌹

Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year! I love Bobbi Brown make up. Their Pot Rouge in Calypso Coral blush is the prettiest peachy shade. I top it with Shimmer Brick in Pink Quartz or Pink Glow. Bobbi Brown makes lovely lipsticks and a wonderful eye brow pencil. Estee Lauder Pure Color Creme lipsticks are beautiful. Their Hi Lustre lipsticks are stunning. I enjoyed your video. Love that you’ve (re) discovered Bobbi Brown. They have actually been bought up by Estée Lauder (which you probably already know!). They were my gateway brand into really good basic makeup for just looking like yourself but more out together. A couple of my favourite staples have been discontinued since they have been bought and Bobbi Brown left the brand but they were all I needed for a five minute face of makeup in my 20s. I’m intrigued by the liquid silk eyeshadows, especially because I used to wear one and done liquid eyeshadows a lot, but I’m wary because sadly I didn’t get on at all with the lurex ones.

Since she re-became the CEO, they have launched some really good stuff (the foundation, ice nude palette, etc.). The thing I hate about Lisa Eldridge, though, is how long it takes them to restock anything. The foundation samples have been out of stock for something like two years? And the gray liquid silk eyeshadow has been out of stock for at least a year.

I never thought in a million years that I would get away with just wearing a skin tint, but the LE one is perfect. Also, I have been using Bobbi Brown colour corrector and concealer for a few years now...and was very surprised to find that Estee Lauder group have owned Bobbi Brown since 1995. Well I never! 😊

Patrick Ta was pretty hated this year actually, a lot of criticism about price points and the whole mold scare... I don't own anything from the brand, and tbh this year made me think I wouldn't try it out anytime soon

Love this video and I get exactly what you’re said about your past impressions of Bobbi Brown & Estée Lauder- I grew up with my mom being an Estée Lauder devotee- makeup, skincare- the whole lot. So even though their advanced night repair serum is supposed to be one of the best of all time, I can’t bring myself to try it 😂 She still uses it and I keep thinking I’m not old enough (even though I’m 54 now 😂).

Happy New Year! I really love my Hourglass Dragon palette! I get a lot of use out of it. Granted I probably won't need one for 2025 cuz I'll likely still be going strong on my current one. It dropped right at a time when I was really looking at their finishing powders and thinking of getting one, so I was like PERFECT, especially cuz the fairest one had 2 finishing powders in it! I also don't even feel bad for paying full price for it and not waiting for a sale

Bobbi Brown has one of the most nourishing and comfortable lip glosses I've ever tried, definitely want more. LOVED the new Visiart palette. My first palette from the brand and it was a big hit, can't put it down. Love the compact size too. Much easier to store and I do think other brands could take note.

I agree with many of these same products. Viseart threw a huge curve with the Sirenuse pallet and now I want more. When Lisa Eldridge came out with her recyclable lipstick component I laughed and Asia no way. Then I ordered it to get my perfect red lipstick. Now I own 3 more colors as well.

Funnily enough, I love Bobbie brown stick foundation because it's creamy and non drying and so is flattering to my aging skin with rosacea and acne scarring. I don't really care about the vibe of the brand, just if it delivers for my weird and complicated skin. Love the icy blue eyeshadow, btw😍

While others are doing their best and worst of 2024, you are doing an award show. Clever and fun to watch. I checked Lisa Eldridge's eyeshadows and they are all sold out. Sad. I am surprised that you like Lisa Eldridge but used to not to like Bobbi Brown. I think they have very similar approach to makeup. Even the fawn palette looks similar to BB Christmas palette a few years ago.Lisa has the Velvet Lipsticks, which BB does not. Under FOMO I bought a couple of those, unfortunately they did not work for my lips.
