I love makeup , but I am getting tired of influencers over reacting to any launch, everything is great, everything is a "must have" we see one or two looks with that product and then we don't see it anymore until the declutter videos (which I hate). Overconsumption hurts our wallets and not to mention the environment. We really need to be educated consumers and I thank you for educating us.

Wow, Lisa Eldridge really is an artist in all sense of the word. Like a fine artist who knows how to use colored pencils or oil paint to create a certain look, Lisa showed us that we can use a bronzer as eyeshadow and lipstick, a blush as lipgloss and highlighter and that you can use small tools like an eyeshadow blush to put on powder or your fingers to blend blush. A new product I love is the Violetta bisou jelly balms. I love the way they apply the color, it’s so different from my experiences of other lip sticks and balms. It naturally gives a deeper center with faded edges look, while being buildable. The only thing I would change is how it’s not completely free of smell.

I believe that its all about undertone and shade. Everyone has their own undertone of their skincolor; it can be cool (pinky), warm (orangy) or olive (can get greenish). To be sure a blush suits your skincolor, you can look into your undertone and find a blush with that undertone too. For the shade, you want that suiting color to be the right darkness. The pink blush she showed was probably too light for her which would look chalky and unnatural. Hence why the darker blush she chose looks more like a slight blush from within, and because she had to use less product to get it to show up too.

I love your approach to high end and pharmacy/ drug store ( which really is the same thing ) products. I have done this in the pass. I've used L'Oreal true Match foundation for quite a long time, there mascara till my eyes got quite sensitive. These days I use Clarins mascara, Charlotte Tilbury beautiful skin foundation, Mac powder, Nars blush. Basically when I was working full time I had more expensive brands as to when I was only working part time I used cheaper brands. Thanks so much for the great video!!!!! ❤❤❤❤

Hi Lisa, what a lovely look! I'm very basic with the eyes, usually just mascara, but love this soft eye look. I am really loving the elf lash extender mascara, the tubing one, especially in brown! Looks so warm and soft but still great length and separation and I love to be able just to remove it with water. Since I saw your video about the sun kissed blush look, I've tried it and never going back! It looks so youthful and makes me feel like I have a bit more volume on my face. This was amazing and, if I might say, you looked stunning! As someone who can only afford drugstore products (I do have one of your lip pencils and the lipstick that starts with an E & is a French word and I love them so much!), I found this video super helpful. I never bother to look what’s trending, so I rely on makeup artists to know. I think this is the most makeup I’ve ever seen you wear, yet it wasn’t overly made up.
