I'm the crazy one...I bought me all 3 immediately! Then I went back and bought the Dragon and Evil Eye for my daughter (one for Christmas and for her bday in March). Last year I bought all 3 palettes and LOVE THEM--but then I gave my daughter her choice of the 2 lighter palettes, she chose the Jellyfish. She loves it and I'm glad she has something so beautiful to you use--even though my heart breaks just a bit everytime I think of it not being on my vanity! All good though!!!!! Since I'm 60, I don't wear the "strobe" shades as blush but I do throw them on my eyes!!!!!

And THANK you for reinforcing that we don’t go broke for makeup and most ppl do not need all three 🫶🏻 I like dragon and evil eye but wish there was a more muted mauve pink in the evil eye palette! Not keen on 2 finishing powders in dragon but with that being said, I actually do use an iteration of these on my eyes most days as a v v subtle eyeshadow. I’ve got oily lids snd this makes them look better.

I ordered the dragon without seeing a review to receive in time for an upcoming trip. So SO happy to see the bronzer is cooler toned. Their bronzers were too warm for my light skin tone although I still tried to make them work. Now, I will use this palette daily, not just for travel anymore. Awesome SPEEDY review Charlotte 🤯💨

Thank you for such a speedy and amazing review! 🩷 I ordered yesterday and I’ve been worrying Dragon would be too warm toned for me since I’m super pale but the bronzer is so much better than the one from Jellyfish! The blushes are pretty too - they’re really different from last year! 🎉

Hourglass listened!! In each palette the blushes are different and not only pink! Yes!!!! They have non orange bronzers. Fabulous! You made a great point that the Lotus doesn’t have swirled shades to them deep! Good job, Hourglass! Evil Eye will the the inside for me. I LOVE it. Plus THREE BLUSHES 🤩 My free advice for Hourglass: Keep building on these great improvements! Next year please consider: 3-4 blushes in each palette (I’d love 4 blushes, 1 highlight, and 1 bronzer, personally) Consider zero finishing powders pretty please, and make the deepest palette even deeper!!

Hourglass as a brand is ‘grownups makeup’. Sophisticated formulas that never disappoint. And while not cheap, they’re not outrageous for a luxury brand.

I bought the Jellyfish palette last year and love it. I have used it a lot, and barely see a dint. I am super excited for this year's Hourglass holiday palettes, but have to really ask myself if I should buy them, or keep focusing on getting good use out of Jellyfish and wait for next year.

Hi Charlotte i am afraid i was confused but i felt so much admiration for the palettes they are just beautiful all of them and excited by the all of the different shades , i just bit the bullet and bought my favourite and its the dragon the original shades , i have used it and its beautiful i absolutely love it love it ! i have never used a new one before its absolutely stunning i know i will continue to use it for a good many months really its gorgeous. i was going to buy the evil eye but no i am pleased that i went for the Dragon so very happy with my selection. Hourglass holiday palettes are my favorite. In the past I would buy one, each year... and hit pan by the next year. Last year I didn't... and so I've been waiting. Decided to really treat myself. I'm your skin shade twin - and decided to buy the middle for my face, and the deep because it looks like what I would LOVE on my eyes. And now it's time we tell Hourglass to make refillable palette inserts - so that we can create our own (and not like the eyeshadows - those were ridiculously expensive.) Thank you and can't wait for you to have a code.

I'm glad I got the medium pallette for my medium skin tone. Last year's pallette, I bought it in the darker shade because I found it to be very light for my liking. But this year's thw medium looks perfect for me... I can't wait for its delivery at my door..!

Charlotte - I’m not a fan of the finishing powders either because it’s a little too glowy for me for that purpose- but I accidentally bought one thinking it was a highlighter until I realized it wasn’t lol! Since I have it, I actually swirl it with the strobe highlight and it makes the highlight a little smoother, especially on textured areas! Swirling it into a super beaming highlighter can bring it back down to earth a little bit without ruining it. Or, lay down the highlight and then swirl a little of the finishing powder right on top of it and it can smooth it out a bit. I do this on my nose highlight since I have some pores there and it actually works wonders! I’ve also swirled it with blushes that are too glowy or deep and it can tone them down! Try mixing and playing with them and hopefully you can get some use out of them! ❤

Thank you so much for this video, this helps a lot. I love being able to use these palettes as my one and done for face (I use on eyes too) and for travel, so I appreciate having a finishing powder. I have the ghost unlocked and I've used up the finishing powder, and the bronzer. I bought Snake last year, but it doesn't get as much use. I like the more neutral shades featured this year
