Seriously though, I don’t think Yami is dense. I think he’s just teasing her, trying to see her reactions and acting dense. For someone showing intelligent whenever he’s needed to, I don’t think he’s THAT dense to miss her reactions towards him. Furthermore he’s not young. Unlike Asta, who’s young, I’m sure Yami has “experience” with love at least once.

As a child, charlotte is cursed so that on her eighteenth birthday, she and her family will be trapped in a cage of time, unless her heart is stolen by a man. Charlotte resolves to become strong enough to break the curse herself and later joins the Blue Rose squad. However, she fails to break the curse in time, and as Charlotte surrenders to the overflowing magic, Yami Sukehiro cuts through the briars and chastises her for relying only on herself. At that point, Charlotte falls in love with Yami, effectively having her heart stolen, which stops the curse but does not remove it.

Actually I'm pretty sure they did kinda show the one who cursed Charlotte or at least her silhouette back back during the Star Festival arc just before they introduced Mereoleona, kinda looked like an evil fairy godmother to me at least. Have a theory about who it was though. Gordon has Poison Curse magic (or Curse Poison magic, whichever) and he couldnt make any friends so he left his family because they dealt in curses which was explained back when the base got zombie attacked and they introduced Henry.

I wish they didn’t skip episode 125, even though it’s a filter episode it was funny and very sweet in the end too the other 2 before 123 & 124 were both recap episodes so it’s okay to skip those but PLEASE don’t skip the filter episodes coming up because they’re awesome, sweet, and cool because we get to see what happened during the 6 months of training which we didn’t see in the manga and the author had supervised the episodes so that makes them important especially since the author himself was looking over them as they were made so please don’t skip the filter episodes coming up. 🙏

I feel like if Charlotte and Yami got together, they would be like the former commander from the Diamond kingdom and his wife. Him being aloof and carefree while she tries to get him to be a better leader and husband. Swap out the random nudity for way too long toilet trips. I honestly think she's a better fit for the Captain of the Crimson Lions Plus the girls would rally around his Sister to be Wizard Queen! Yami would fit Vanessa better to me. She and Charmy are arguably the Mothers of the squad. She was also awakened by Yami's call to action to help her leave the Witch Queen. She's responsible for assisting and helping every member of the Black Bulls especially willing to sacrifice herself if necessary. Unlike Charlotte she is not only willing to fight for her captain, she is his drinking buddy. Yami likes to gamble and she can win back anything he looses, especially since her upgrade to luck/destiny manipulation. Plus her wires and magic is a great parallel to Charlotte's vines. He doesn't need Charlotte because he already has a Queen right under his nose. I actually fear they are going to push this obvious match of Captains like they did Orihime and Ichigo in Bleach. Rukia, Nell, and Tatsuki all were possible connections who could have fit him too but were not given true chances to develop romantically. The girl that changed his life, settled with an obvious pick. The girl who lost everything to protect her squad resorted thanks to his aid, Leading her hallows with other surviving Espada. The former best friend who helped him first tap into his swordsman skills during their childhood who he cut out his life mostly after the passing of his parent. She hypes him to her new friend whom he helps and saves only to spark the Orihime and Ichigo bond in the first place. Does he go to her and add her to the squad or have any of his allies help unlock her latent abilities? No. Funny since she was better with a weapon than any of his squad growing up. even the Quincy acknowledged her as being a treat if her powers were unlocked like Ichigos. She would have been stronger than Ichigo, if it were not for his overpowered three powers hybrid B.S.. It's like going to war knowing the best shooter, who you should have trained as a sniper, is just left working at a convenient store. Then you look at her drowning herself in her art and living through her friend to see that Ichigo is alright. They are in the same group of friends at school, but don't spend any time together. When she attacks him over the missing Orihime, It's the first time he paid attention to her pain and concern, but only over Orihime and not after does he embrace her, nor try to repair what they had. Instead we constantly get to see and know Orihime's feelings and never get the other's a chance to make their claim. Even Black Clover let's the other women show their love for Asta beyond the obvious Noble choice. Honestly if Mimosa nor the Lady taking care of her siblings don't win, I want the Sister to shed that nun outfit and embrace her Wizzard King Asta! I hate the obvious choice being forced on us. It's like Sakura and Sasuke on Naruto. They're together, but why though?
