And it's written and produced by Charlotte alone (mainstream pop have usually like 6 writters and producers for just one song, i never understood why...).

@@vince300100 I recognize Charlotte's efforts at being self-reliant and i think it's very admirable. But i have no idea to what you are reffering with the layers and arrangements. The song has a simplistic ABABCA pop structure. Guitars are there just to provide a simple rhythm, and the keyboards provide a simple backdrop melody . So not so differrent from a common pop song (just replace the guitars with a bass beat). The guitar lick in the bridge is somewhat interesting, but not nearly enough.

​@@nikosv95 thats the idea to reference pop, is a song about dopamine, that why it starts like an edm song, and thats why the video is colorful and the sound is similar to pop music, and maybe is basic compared to their other songs but not necessarily it has to be complicated and virtuous all the time, the sound and video also can speak to you about the topics they are speaking about.

Listening to it on Spotify, this song hits hard cause this was my life for a long time. Actually quit antidepressants cold turkey, which I shouldn't have done in hindsight (don't do it like that, wean off of them kids) but I couldn't stand feeling absolutely numb about everything. Feel better with some life changes and natural remedies, but I understand that I'm not everyone and some people may feel better on them. I'm better not sleeping for 12 hours or more a day, numb to the world, and I feel like there are more like me out there. I also really liked "Your Body is a Battleground" from the Delain era, and was very disappointed to hear about all the hate you got for it, especially because it's an important message. Looking forward to the video.
