Holly, I’m so sorry you went through all of this. Thank you for so bravely sharing your story, I know it will bring comfort to those who have been through similar things. I have traveled this path of infertility and miscarriage as well after secondary infertility. We did end up adopting our second child. She was three years old and there is a seven year age gap between my two girls. Now that they are 18 and 25 it is amazing to see their relationship grow closer as they become young adult women. I will keep you in my prayers that you have peace through this process because it is definitely a challenge in so many ways. I love all of your content! I especially love the content where you talk through your work from home business processes, and I’ve been enjoying seeing all of your adventures on the farm on Instagram! Sending you big hugs!❤

Holly, I am sending you the biggest hug. I found you years ago when I was starting my IVF journey, and I saw you go through your pregnancy with Charlie. His baby rolls just melted me. I don't know you personally, but your light shines through the camera, and I know what a great person you truly are. Hearing you go through all of that brings tears to my eyes, and I'm amazed at the fact that you've worked through that experience and are able to talk about it. I'm sending so many prayers your way. May God bless you and your family and may amazing things go your way. Thank you for sharing this. Sending you much love.

Wow, I'm so sorry you had to go through all that. This video had me in tears. It's so awful to hear about people who have been overlooked and mistreated by the medical system! It really shouldn't happen. I have a close friend who had a still birth and it was mostly the doctors fault for not checking certain things on her. Isn't the first thing they vow to do no harm!? So happy that you guys have found better health care professionals since then. I don't mean to throw yet another recommendation at you, but I would suggest you look into homeopathy as well. It could really help you heal not just physically, but mentally and emotionally alongside the other things you're doing. And it's 100% natural. Essentially you're just helping your body to heal itself rather than taking pharmaceuticals that suppress your symptoms. Sorry, I don't mean to throw something else at you as I'm sure you've done tons of research, but I wanted to mention it. If you want to know more, but don't want to spend time doing research on it, I'd be happy to chat with you over instant messenger or phone and tell you about the amazing things it's done for us. But don't feel like you have to. I fell like I sounds like an MLM salesman, but I'm not making any money from this, I'm just super passionate about homeopathy since we started using it a year ago. God bless! Can't wait for more videos from you!

I am so so sorry for all the terrible medicinal malpractice you've gone through. The maternal healthcare in the US is such a scam and listening to you makes me so upset that this is actually happening in a first world country. I hope you find the peace that you are looking for for you and your beautiful family. Sending much love 🖤🖤🖤

Can you ask his urologist why a ultrasound wasn't done earlier? It seems like they don't think it would change anything either way.
@HollyHomebody
@HollyHomebody 2 ай бұрын
They didn’t think he had the symptoms so didn’t order one. It wasn’t until he basically demanded one that they agreed to order. Some people are asymptomatic though. Lots of stories online of varicocele surgery fixing infertility 🙏

@@HollyHomebody You would think if it was a major cause of infertility that the specialists would know that and order it routinely. There are reports online of anything under the sun, it makes me wonder what the evidence shows. I'll look it up!! Hoping for a pregnancy and healthy birth for your family!

@@HollyHomebody I read a pub med research article about it and apparent a lot of men that struggle with infertility have varicocceles however so do many men that don't struggle with infertility. I will say the article I'm referencing is years and years old but it does say this topic is highly controversial and that surgical repair for this and it being helpful or not is also controversial. The article did a study and the biggest factor in the surgery group vs the non surgery group was the woman's age. They clearly need to do more research but I think that explains why his original urologist wasn't convinced that that was the main issue. The article also says the best test to confirm a varicocele is the physical exam manuevrs rather than an US so that is likely also why they didnt order. Nonetheless, very interesting and hoping it makes the difference!
@HollyHomebody
@HollyHomebody 2 ай бұрын
@@softbreezy6052 yes I appreciate your looking into it - I’m well aware of all of the studies etc. Many men (I believe I read 15-20%) have varicoceles and do not have infertility. However, in men with infertility, it’s more like 40%. And around 50% of the time, surgery will correct it. I know people in real life who have had infertility, had this surgery, and went on to have multiple children. In any case, whatever the statistics, we would’ve appreciated the choice of a less invasive and expensive route than IVF if possible and that was never even mentioned to us. The topic of varicoceles never even came up - it was more like 🤷‍♀️ sorry, nothing can be done, you’ll need IVF. We’ve been on this journey for 10 years, so I’m sure you can see why that would frustrate me that no one thought to look into a fairly simple possibility first before going down a much more complicated road.

How old is your oldest? I forgot; it has been so long since I have seen you on here. I lost a baby girl after trying for 3 years at 16-18 weeks after having a miscarriage of 5 months at 6 weeks before. It broke me, even though I had 2 older children. It has been 8 years since. I can tell you that you will still cry randomly for about 3 years after that. It gets less and less crying as time goes on. I do still find myself mourning a little every March. My little girl will never be forgotten, even though I am doing a lot better mentally. Since then, I have been able to have 2 healthy boys. I am surprised at what happened to Wess. A fertility doctor should have caught it. I'm upset for you. I have seen another couple on KZbin with a similar problem. They have been to doctors in Florida and Utah. Unfortunately, he can't produce any sperm because of a secondary issue. I doubt Wess has that. It makes me frustrated that the doctor blew him off, I hope the 😢 learned something from this. Remember to always question doctors and go with your gut. I'm glad you are finding peace. Hugs!
