@thedundeeprincess Leo didn't necessarily choose Piper over Prue; from the impact, Prue more than likely died instantly (she had blood coming out of her ears and an excessive amount pooling underneath her head - a sign of major blunt (force) trauma) and Piper did not (I think the way she was thrown and how she held her body had a lot to do with her surviving, too). I think that by the time Leo got there, Prue had been gone too long to save her even while attempting to save both.

Nah Prue didint die instantly otherwise if she had, the first time they got pushed through the wall Prue wouldn’t have woken up. I think Leo and them just got there and only piper woke up

@@randocommando6355 The key thing missing was Phoebe, when she was there Leo got there instantly. But with her gone it took Leo longer to get there to heal them, so my guess is Prue was already dying from her injruies and needed to be healed right away.

@@RedfurredPikachu From the look on Leo's face when he heals them the first time, you can tell he's worried he won't be able to. I think it probably took Prue about 2 minutes to die after the impact and it would have taken Piper 15 or so. Only the second time it probably took Phoebe 5 minutes of waiting for Cole to come back before realising he wasn't coming and calling Leo.

@@rtozier2011you explained it perfectly. Prue’s injuries were way more fatal than Piper’s. Prue definitely had internal injuries whereas Piper most likely just had minor injuries such as a somewhat broken nose which explains the blood and her hand hitting the wall which of course caused it to bleed as well. Piper was knocked unconscious where I think Prue fell into a coma maybe a minute after she hit the ground. Plus the way Piper landed after getting blasted contributed to her survival. Prue didn’t have time to adjust her fall or adjust the way she’d hit the wall. Piper knew she would also get blasted so she kind of had the reaction time where Prue didn’t. Prue just in the heat of the moment pushed the doctor out of the way at a desperate attempt to save him. She could’ve moved him with her powers but she wasn’t thinking. She just wanted to save him and she did the first and second time it’s just Phoebe wasn’t there to stun Shax the second time so in a way, Prue sacrificed her life for nothing because the doctor was killed anyways right after Piper was blasted.

Piper is the only one as you can see is going crazy losing prue. And she's the only trying so hard to bring prue back. I'm not happy prue die. But maybe in the reality Shannen has reason why she left the show. I love the show so much, especially the story of piper and Leo.

People grieve in different ways. For Prue, Piper broke, but Pheobe grieved with Cole and relied on him. The opposite of Leo and Piper. Piper pushed him away. Plus its good writing. You can't have both sisters break down. They have to grieve differently in order for them to have a show. When Cole died, she was the only one to grieve. Plus he was everything at that point. She not only lost her husband but her baby as well.

@@kristysonberg4235 I think Phoebe's grief for Cole in Long Live the Queen was made worse by the fact that she had relied on him to support her after Prue's death. So I think her grief for him is intermingled with her ongoing grief for Prue.

@PrueandPiper well because the times that they went back in time was way after Prue's death, when Piper was at peace with Prue and herself. She knew Prue was meant to die then, so even though she didn't like it, she'd accepted it and moved on, and she knew better than to try to save her.

@@daniellelawman9724going back to save Prue would’ve created a new timeline and most likely Prue would’ve died later on in a different way because she was meant to die. Paige would’ve been found later and the timeline would be different than the one we saw. Or saving Prue could’ve caused others to die then Prue would’ve eventually died anyways.

The thing is even if piper did that Death would've came after prue again in some way because Prue was meant to Die so Paige can be saved and come in for the good she was destined to do,.... as unfair as it seemed with phoebe and piper losing prue, and with Paige never having the chance of meeting Prue they showed a lot strength in coping with it cause that's hard to live with.
