Had they actually kept their word when they banished Regina, the curse would never have been enacted. Instead, they gave Regina free rein and well, now we're here.

I have JUST realized something! After this, Regina and Emma took W!Robin to Storybrooke. I think that's why the wish (apparently) didn't work. Because Queenie deserved her happy ending too!

@@davidtucker9498 Because the savior (Emma) vowed to give Regina her happy ending. And it was Regina who would later vanquish the Evil Queen by diving their hearts.. giving the EQ part of Regina's goodness and Regina taking part of the EQ's darkness. In that way, the EQ can save everyone with the Dark Fairy exiled them, and Regina becomes the Good Queen of the United Realms.. before the Reboot (which we won't talk about..lol).

Well, david’s wish did help the Evil queen gets what she deserves. The wish bring back Robin of Locksley in the Wish Realm. And the evil Queen and WR Robin did live happily ever after
