Because of people wanting different teams, when the game is released and I can training mode better I'm considering going through every character again and just showing unique things they can do with certain assists. The general combos probably wont change but I'd imagine certain assists open new paths or options. For example, Hyde has a great 6+Assist that can help you get in (imo), and then get 2 assists in a combo from it.

I'm really loving this game so far, but I'm not too familiar with the advanced stuff, cuz the only fighting games I've really played are the Smash games. If you don't mind, could you explain what stuff like 214+a means? I can guess the other stuff, as in I'm pretty sure what they mean, but I'm a bit lost there. Also, when the combos say 5b it doesn't really look like it's 5 b attacks, so I'm assuming it's canceled halfway through? Great videos, by the way! Getting all this data in the beta must be insane.

Basically the number means a certain direction. The number pad on a keyboard is how this whole thing works. 5 is in the middle of the number pad so that is neutral/standing. I'm sure you can figure out the rest.

Prototype7934 Thanks for the response! Just to make sure I have this right, 5B means return to neutral and attack, right? And something like 236 means move the stick/dpad (I prefer using dpads but is that better?) To 2 then 3 then 6 then press B or A, right?

Lucas Walberg Correct. 236 and 214 are quarter circles so yes you move the pad. It takes time getting used to remembering the commands but it will come to mind easy when you do.

So the Reset at the last combo is a way to always hit the 214A after 5BB? If so, how do you reset with Es?

The reset requires the right timing and spacing for that one.

CharminUltra I mainly use Ruby and Rachel and sometimes Yu. I have assist combos for Ruby and even solo ones. But combos for Rachel I don't. It's annoying when Ruby is down so I have to rely on my projectiles to do anything.

I have a TON of ideas with Yu. When the online beta closes, I have access to those two. I mainly need Rachel solo and Rachel with Ruby assist combos. With over 200 wins I got, I still don't know what to do with Rachel when for combos. Ruby mainly does most of the work and Rachel ends up getting the kills.
