Nice combos you got here. Do you have a video on how to hit those directional inputs clearly? Having problems hitting 214, 623 etc. Complete fighting game noob btw

If you're REALLY new then there are probably better resources for this, but I'll give it a try. The first 5-10 seconds of the video in the top left corner it will show you what each number means. I'm assuming you know 214 and 236 are quarter circles forward and back. 623 can be done by doing 6 123 it doesn't need to be super accurate, and 236 can be 1236 or 12369. Sit in the lab and just make motion specials until you can do it pretty consistently. You'll want to eventually be able to do a special 100% of the time you attempt it. There's a lot of muscle memory you need to develop so be patient and try to enjoy the game with other people at your skill level vs sitting in training for the next 2 weeks.

To add to his comment, don't forget to practice your inputs on both sides (player1 and player2). For the dp input (623) you don't have to press 6 and then make a full quarter circle forward. You can just press 6, drag your finger down to 2, stop at 3 then press the A,B or C. Since there aren't any double quarter circle forward inputs in this game (at least as far as I know) you don't have to you do your dp inputs super clean. Just do it the way that feels more comfortable. Also take it easy and try to have fun in the meantime.

Thanks both. Played with friends last night and tried both your suggestions and it worked. My input still needs work but I'm hitting combos easier. Using a controller analog for the input. Kinda slow with the dpad

Everyone has different styles don't feel like you have to use a certain controller or scheme as long as it's comfortable for you

Was there a balance patch i missex or something because 236A seems to not allow me to combo into 2B or even 2A
