Saw her in concert in CT at the Mohegan Sun Casino, she is not only a world classical guitarist, but also full of life at her age, long live Charo! I was a high soprano opera singer, I know how much dedication it takes to move an audience, there are no words to have an audience give you a standing ovation, even with talent there is insecurity, btw

I had to look her up after seeing her on the Sherri show today. I'm so glad to see she's still going strong. It's a shame she never got the recognition she deserved for her outstanding flamenco guitar playing. She studied under Segovia, for goodness sake!

I think she's had worldwide acclaim from what I see online. I just found out about her guitar prowess about a year ago. I always loved her silliness on U.S. TV. I always have loved classial guitar, too, so now I have a new reason to love her and respect her musical talent.

She is the number 1 Flamenco guitarist in the world, and was taught by Andre Segovia, who brought the guitar fro a folk instrument to a classical one. She was nine years old when she started lessons from him. If I am correct Xavier Cougar (sp?), brought her to the U.S. when she was 20 years old.

She is not the number 1 flamenco guitarist in the world... Guitar magazine called her that years ago but it's just a magazine. There are many better than her she's good but she's not the best
