Is that Greg Judy talking?? You sound exactly like him:)) Can you please detail if the cow was a first time heifer, or experienced? Also, did the calve came out easily or big head and shoulders, and long hard birthing?

jose c villagrana Our hopes aren’t too high for milk production but we’ll try her. We just had some Charolais in our tank that needed to be used.

@@user-qc7ww7vp9i i have one cow like this, cow tits have half amount of milk than holstein. Maybe you can extract milk some some initial months, but after that, the baby cow will take it all. Or you can just forget and not take milk. Since there is so much milk, the baby cow (when crossed with a devon or other meat bulls) , tye result is a very robust young cattle at the end of 8 months. This 8 months cows have very little holstein in their muscular looks, but it still can have some holstein color pattern. Its very cheap to buy a cow like this because they are not very well priced for the butcher. Good for starters. We have 3 cows like this, one charolais x holstein, one jersey x devon, and other jersey x something else.

@@polentusmax6100 Hei,sir Am very interested in this cross. I have some heifers Holstein to cross with but not so sure if it could be difficult to calving cause calf get to big? And I expect higher breed to beef cattle. Have you f2 or f3?
