But the customer care on the forum are horrible...Someone must change something, cause I've been there with problems with PPM protocol on that board and nobody showed up to help me out. RMA already done thought GETFPV to give that board back...Its a defective one. Amazing piece of hardware, and software, but, customer service, not even close.

Made a great discovery today! Couldn't get on with slow flying because I had a massive blind spot beneath my quad. I just reversed the angled camera mount so it points down 15 degrees rather than up 15 degrees and its a night and day improvement. Okay no good at speed, but perfect for squeezing through little gaps. I can have some fun with this now.

Got a question. What fov do you use for your main flight fpv camera? Not for the gopro but for the transmitting camera.?120 deg. 140, 90? I personally use 140 or 90 deg fov lens but I've always wondered what other people use and why.

So insane - the concrete still scares the crap out of me. How are you tuning your PIDs, on the fly with bluetooth / android or do you plug in to do the updates? With betaflight(1.10) and all the soft filters on my F3 I have not found a way to update them through the bluetooth or on the fly, have you? CLI for tuning?

+Johnny Friedrich My guess is 0. The PIDs look like common BetaFlight PIDs. Setting it to 0 along with Boris' sync to gyro will result in a looptime ~1000 since gyro_lpf = 188. All the build details I know documented here: rcbuild.info/build/tannewt/CharpuFPV-QAV210/

It really is easy with a quad, you just have to adjust your angle. It's not like a helicopter. Just tilt it extremely far forward and you won't go up. Can be almost 90 degrees....

I do have a question if you catch this comment. In your description you say 1300 with GP and 1800 WO. Is that correct or backwards? I do 1300 without and 1800 with as it helps to balance having a heavier battery out back with a gopro up front. It's more sluggish, but the run times are similar. Just curious.

+surf1punk The processor isn't clocked faster but it does do floating point calculations natively rather than emulating them. The same speedup can be achieved on the naze32 is you turn the accelerometer off and only fly acro. Buying the SPRacingF3 is a great way to support Dominic developing Cleanflight. If that isn't interesting I'd suggest waiting for an F4 based board. It is clocked faster and will be able to keep up with raw gyro inputs.
