Throttle control

Since we've been kept indoors recently with Cyclone Marcia around and rain everywhere, the only way to get any flying done is indoors so Mark and I set off for our favourite car park we like to call "Pylons" for obvious reasons. This also a great way to test out PID 2 on Cleanflight which I must say I'm really liking. The tune was still a bit rough, being done indoors at home but still good enough to get a feel for it. Specail thanks to Mark for risking his new ImmersionRC Xugong Pro V2 and getting some cool stabilised shots which really helped to finish of the edit nicely. It's cool where you can take a Xugong if you're brave enough :).

There was an interview with you that I saw and the question to you was whats the most important thing to learn. You said Throttle management and referred people to watch this video. I did and it inspired me to do a throttle management video myself. I picked a large grouping of trees at Gibson Ranch and tried to fly fast under them. I thought I would come back and watch this video again and say thanks for the motivation you gave me at the beginning of my FPV travels.

Really like the mix of FPV and LOS - as a noob (and damn proud of it, thank you very much!!), I am getting my mind around both. When viewing normal FPV without LOS it is sometimes difficult to imagine the orientation of the quad. - this helps greatly. Thanks for the most excellent (yes I am that old) content. Great stuff!!

Amazing control you have to avoid the floor and ceiling especially at those speeds. One question how do you manage to keep the camera aligned vertically even though you are accelerating and braking all the time? Is that a headtracker and servo on the camera? When I move at speed all I see is the floor..

Can you give a little more detail into your FPV system? I'm keep to try this but a little skeptical with running a 5.8 setup behind all the concrete and metal. Are you using clover leaf antennas? Or are you using clover + helical down the straights with a diversity setup?

+leetpg It's just a 600mw IRC vtx with a Spironet and a n IRC Duo Diversity receiver with a mad mushroom and patch antenna. 5.8 can go a lot further than people think

Just an Acro Naze mate. I have no use for those extra features. Mini quads are the most fun when flown in rate mode with all the gizmos turned off...
