Good review, I'm going to buy one of these to add to my collection. I always used to carry 357 before the Glock craze. Now I'm ready to go back to my roots. I used to have a s&w body guard as a backup and always like the shrouded hammer.

I just purchased a Pitbull in .45acp and I really like it. The grips fit my hand like they were custom made for me, which makes the gun an absolute joy to shoot.

Try the Zeta6 line of flexible poly speed loaders or speed strips. I've found either to retain cartridges (even 9x19 mm) reliably. Found that switching the standard rubber grip for the compact wood slabs makes speed loader use easier. Test these well in advance of being in Serious need of them to improve your proficiency and confidence.

Carry one in a nice Barsony holster specifically made for the Charter Arms revolver.

Purpose of covered hammer is to shoot within a pocket. Do you think this model can be shot like that without the hammer spur jamming up ? Thank You fir the review.

Try some Inceptor Preferred Defense in 357. The bullets are 86 grain. Kind of expensive though. A less expensive option is Remington's SJHP in 357. The bullets are 110 grain. Lower bullet weight=less recoil.

The hammer shroud version is a very good idea. However, the hammer spur still protrudes a bit much for my taste. Were it more as the S&W Bodyguard, that concern would not cross my mind. C.A. machinists take note.

Thanks for the review. I was wondering if this gun is made of all stainless steel? I think in the description of one of the gun sites it said stainless finish, so I wasn't sure what that meant. Thanks

All stainless with a matte finish. Except for the trigger guard, which is aluminum.
