The fact that he grew up a Phillies fan make the catch 100 times better.

This Astos team will be remember one of the greatest teams and dynasty of all time. The funny thing is, if you remind anybody who says the Stros cheated, and you retort that the Red Sox and Yankees were also caught cheating, they have nothing to argue with you about. Because it's true...but there are a bunch of idiots out there. Every team, in every sport, will gain an advantage however they can. If everyone is doing it, it's fair game. But you see, the Astros were the leagues sacrificial lamb. The Red Sox got caught multiple times(2017 included), and they were hardly punished in comparison to the 'Stros. The league literally knew about the Yankees scandal (also2017). MLB had the documents sealed by a court bout the Manford report detailing the cheating. ESPN swept the Yankees scandal under the rug. So suck it to anyone who cries like a baby back b****

I mean only if they win though. If the Phillies come back and win the WS, it probably won't matter that much.

@@AnthonyLopez-ib9gr This isn't 2019 with injuries. This isn't last year when it was just the Braves year. The best team in baseball is about to win the world series.

McCormick is all heart, Man hug and everything. Class A athlete and Gentleman. I'm glad good things are coming his way. Making a big catch, in his hometown, in a World Series game. I told my buddies today, somebody is going to do a painting of him making that catch and it will be hanging in his man cave. Like someone said below, we will be watching that play for next 20 years in World Series highlights.

"since this is the WS, I was going to run right through that wall" and this folks is why the Astros are taking care of business. Players with attitudes like that.

It's a shame that MLB chose to make the Astros the scapegoat in order to spare their big-market Yanks, Red Sox, Dodgers. Astros in reality are such a close-knit team composed of so many genuinely good guys who contribute so much both on and off the field in H-Town ... they should be America's Team instead of the pariahs that MLB has set them up to be.

I wish it was a low fence so people would understand how high he jumped. That would be a robbed homerun in a lot of ball parks. Not to mention he was running full speed and not just camped under it. Absolutely incredible in any moment, but even more so in that moment.

A classic WS in 2022. As much as offense wins the game, the defense wins the game and momentum. 3 o/s plays, Preesley, Mancini, Mccormick...8 and 9th inning was so shaky for Astros. Lets go Astros...
