Great video. I thought this pedal was interesting as I've heard it in other videos. Every other video made it a very experimental music pedal and it is, but!! You had me at “Frippertronics”. With the way technology has transformed and has transformed the way we think of possibilities, I am stuck here wondering if there is a way to make a Frippertronics reel to reel delay looping interface that would be less encumbering and easier to use …. But then I realize listening ti what you’re doing here that there is no reason to even imagine it given what we have available in a single standard stomp form factor these days. Going to check, but have you/ do you used the blooper?
@Alex_Martz Жыл бұрын
Can the Chase Bliss Blooper do the same?, I'm surprised you haven't reviewed that pedal yet, Thanks!
@thepedalzone Жыл бұрын
There's some crossover between the selectable delay effects. But Blooper lets you use two effects at the same time, whereas Habit only allows for one. That's the only overlap though. Other than that they are very different devices.

Hi Stefan. Do you recommend this pedal for modern Slowdive shoegaze style?
@thepedalzone11 ай бұрын
Sure, you can get some nice pristine digital delays as well as more washy modulated textures, all something that Slowdive incorporates into their songwriting. But this pedal might be a little bit overkill, if you're just looking to cop some dream pop/shoegaze textures. But if you want a pedal that does a ton of experimental stuff as well as the more classic dreamy delay stuff, then Habit is a solid option.
