As for some of the locomotives in this wreck, 5045 was totally destroyed and was never rebuilt. Not only that, but both AEM-7s 903 and 900 plus some of the coaches on the front of the train were also deemed a total loss and scrapped.

Do you guys think Gates and Cromwell knew their fate as 5044 slid onto Track 2 based on the expressions the crew make it 3:52 with the looks on their face make it appear they might of seen 94's lights or heard its horn prior to impact. In the chaos of throwing the train into emergency realizing the signal, 1-North was a stop signal. I don't think Gates and Cromwell would of knew 94 was right behind them. Course his interview with 2020, Gates. He did say he was not braced for the impact. Animation was great, not trying to be critical of it. Just curious if anyone else thought the same at 3:52. The looks on their face before impact.

The animation was rendered at 60 frames making it look very faster because if it was 30 frames it might have been more better but I went with 60 instead of 30 because I wanted smoothness just to note it does take longer to render. The animation isn’t always perfect because my animation with physics are pretty difficult if you ask me because during the making of this scene I had to face longer loading times and multiple program crashes and unsaved parts and intensified lagging.
