JUSTICE FOR DAPPLES LET’S GOOOOO! Dapples was my first love due to the dual-wielding function, the design and color, and the speed. I even Superfreshed it on S3. The range always held it back, but if it was increased a bit, it probably would have been a killer weapon by itself.

Been a Dapples one trick for like four years and it's funny that they "became good" the second I drop the game lmao. I hope people that pick up this weapon give it a real chance. There's so much they can do! Very flexible in it's role, and has a TON of movement options as well. Always wanted to make a Dapple guide to make all that time spent worth something but always push it back lol. The weapon has crazy potential beyond just the stuff talked about in the video, and I really hope there can be more discoveries and optimizations now that a higher volume of people are using it. btw definitely agree that splatana is the toughest match up hahaha

I’m so happy blapples have been seen a lot more in comp, they were one of my first four stars and I still actively use it to this day so seeing them go from “worse tetras” to a really good dive option is awesome. Also glad to have you back, hope you enjoyed your break :)

Honestly me and the dapples pick up I’m on have been saying these are like top tier for the longest time and then got laughed at by other players. Feels nice to be proven right and finally not getting asked if we can play splat dualies in sendouq. LONG LIVE DAPPLES!!

Reminds me of the sploosh but in splatoon 2, everyone laughed at that weapon until they started noticing the potential of the sploosh 7 kit, and people actually started playing that weapon in tournaments. Splatoon 3 unfortunately wasn't as kind to the sploosh, no thirds kits, most maps not well suited for sploosh and an increase in weapons that out match (or sometimes even outclass) sploosh.

Yeah i agree with this! Ive been using dapples nouveau for 1 year now, and i have gotten way better the more i use it i have like 4000 wins on it lol. I think they should fix reefslider a bit like startup protection so you don't die immediately after using it.

It’s nice to see the only dualies I can stand, and one of my two mainest mains, make it to that point. I still can’t stand either kit, but I appreciate the main weapon itself so much that I tend to overlook its bad kits, which is something I can’t really say for any other main weapon.

I think it's also worth noting that dapples higher damage, combos better with slider than tetras, and torpedo also has better synergy with slider compared to autobomb

I know reefslider is good now. But I think it's better used in the middle of a fight, agents ultra stamp, and to get out of dangerous situation, At least in my opinion. Also it's end lag and invincible end lag should be gone completely.

I am annoyed that this weapon is doing better recently I play Luna Blaster, and I believe that the match up is terrible Stupid Fast dodge rolls and kill time that can allow them to sneak into the dead zone or move out of range, Sub that is generally good against slow and aggressive weapons, and Slider that is difficult to avoid for those with slow paint and can easily be used to drop on ledges If I were to forget that I'd say : great video, nice pacing and visuals :)

Dapples Nouveau have been my go-to weapon since they were added to the game... At least up until S-Blast '93. Even if reefslider isn't my favorite special, torpedo is such a good sub that it makes up for it!
