Hi Amie, I know you’ve sold your dusty pink Gucci Marmont flap bag, but I wanted to ask about the wear and tear of it. I’ve heard that to keep it from becoming pointy at the top, and flattened, it should be worn double strapped and not cross body or over the shoulder (as a single strap). Did your bag start becoming pointy at all? I am worried this bag might not suit my lifestyle as I rarely wear my bags with shorter straps and much prefer a longer strap, over the shoulder. I also wanted to ask what the wear and tear is like for the small Loulou, as I have also heard that it can sag at the corners. Is the leather more delicate than the Gucci Marmont leather? Amie, do you find Nicholas Kirkwood loafers run true to size? as I have a pair of heels from him that I could have done with going up half a size. I sold my Dionysus as I had it in the medium which just read too large on me :( but it is a bag I will always love and I am considering adding it back to my collection in a smaller size. I think because the Dionysus line didn't reach the popularity of the Marmont it will be a classic as people won't get sick of it and be eager to be rid of it. I also need to get an Antigona in the mini size, I have been saying this since last year but I need to pull the trigger asap - I have always loved the Antigona - I think it is a for sure classic, for a bag to still be going strong 10 years after its first iteration shows how classic it is.Furthermore the brand still create it which to me is a marker as to whether a bag will be classic or not.

This was really good but I think you skipped a whole category. Scarves. You can really elevate a look with the addition of an Hermes or Burberry scarf, or even tying a bandeau around the rim of a straw hat in summer. I am a big fan of Prada wallets too. I have a long zip around wallet, which has a wrist strap, for many years and it still looks great and is very functional.

So I always say about 'trendier' bags - the main thing you should consider is whether you love it and use it. For me, the key thing is always cost per wear and if I think I'm getting my money's worth. If you don't love it anymore, I would say sell but don't feel pressured to just because it's not quite as popular as it was :)
