so far I don't think anybody mentioned that the officially stated reason they weren't allowed to be Germany's song at the last Eurovision Song Contest was that their music wasn't "suitable for radio". Well ... "Hurrikan" is halfway there ;)

Hey man, I just found your channel today; recently I heard sleep tokens most recent album for the first time. It was recommended to me via Spotify, and I listened to Atlantic, the title track, for the first time. I recently broke up with my girlfriend of 2 years, and I was listening to the track in my car at night on my way home from university - I’ve never felt such a connection to a song, so enthralled and sad at the same time, and I had to pull over to listen to and cry through the whole song. I saw EC this summer at Summer Breeze, Hurrikan had come out 2 or 3 days before their appearance at the festival. I remember hoping that they would play it - would have been so fun with most people probably not knowing the song. Unfortunately we didnt get to hear it though :( but the rest was awesome !

Happy to see I'm not the only one. Also, living in a country adjacent to Germany, we had a lot of absolutely horrible German schlager music trickling across the border, and I am inordinately pleased to see a schlager band, even if fictional, being mauled by zombies.
