The Bolt faithful understand, same with Phil Rivers. Saw all kinds of ability with him as well. Despite our long suffering experiences as Charger fans, we have had some hyper talented QB's and others through the years. Ironically it has taken a coach and other pieces to finally start to change the culture. Im in on the Harbaugh train, Im drinking the cool aid. Been a Charger fan since 1988. Finally the Bolts are posied to make some noise. Give this group one more draft and Free Agency. Boom! Herbo is legit. So stoked he is our QB.

How is he re making a name for himself ?? I mean Justin Herbert is one of the only people to have a 5000 yard season. Look up who else does. Justin Herbert is , has and always will be a top tier QB. I’m not even a chargers fan but everyone seems to think this a “ different Herbert “. He just had better coaching. Except for the few additional rookies. And I think 3 free agents they have the same team as last year. His coaching and mentors are making him more confident, boosting up the “ beast “. A healthy chargers team has been and will ALWAYS be a scary team with Herbert as their QB. No INT in 11 games, With those bum receivers except for Ladd !! Idk yall need to put respect on his name.

@chase daniel Great analysis as always Chase. At the 1215 minute mark to me that is unacceptable for Trae Pipkins and Bradley Bozeman to not be able to at least slow down Chris Jones coming down there on a triple team with the back I mean, I realize it’s Chris Jones, but you have to at least slow him down. You can’t just let him go right through practically. With that said, Herbert is amazing and he doesn’t get the credit he deserves. These throws are absolute lasers on a line man. Unbelievable talent and I just hope they can get him some more help and the guard and center positions respectively, and at the receiver/tight end positions. His leading tight end is a career blocking tight end. That’s insane!

Give Herbert Burrows weapons, Lamar’s weapons or Mahomes weapons I guarantee you he’s shattering numbers with tbr passing yards and TDs. The man is throwing to WR3’s outside of Ladd and throwing to TE’s that are 3rd stringers on any team in the NFL. Herbert is the best QB in the league it’s not even close!
@chaneystcgstore46923 күн бұрын
Herbert did miss the throw to Palmer but just barely. Considering it was a deep ball with pressure in his face and throwing before Palmer straightened out, not sure you can really ding him for it.

On the play where you highlight Chris Jones doing Chris Jones things, 30, Vidal, is the last Charger to try to block him, and Jones tosses him down, but Vidal, going down, stays in front of Jones giving Herbert just a slip second of extra time.

I've been arguing that Herbert has been elite! His team has just been horrendous and he's the only reason they've won 50 percent of their games. Even now he has no interior line and Ladd is good but he's no number 1

You played with him so your opinion matters. Do you think derwin would help if used as a TE? Dissly injury hurt. Smartt had a great game, but i would have to see him play more consistently, given his past play. But, in your opinion, having seen derwin up close and everyone knows him and keenan would sometimes 1v1 after practice where they switch sides. Would the team benefit from him playing a few snaps at TE? Redzone mostly. He did play WR in high school.

You have to give Harbaugh credit. He knew he had a good D, a good running game and a QB who was shaky in confidence. So he goes run heavy all year and tries to limit his throws. It has worked well. Now that the running game has taken a hit he has to rely more on Herbert. Will see how it goes in the playoffs. Hoping Herbert just takes some ownership to improve himself.

Jordan Love and CJ Stroud have signature wins and playoff wins and they are only in year TWO. Herbert is 1-7 against Mahomes and cant beat Allen or Lamar either. These are the guys you need to beat to be considered elite and he has not done that. Hes being paid like those guys but has not delivered when its mattered most.
