Ah the night's cavalry. So many memories of getting absolutely clapped, especially when I was still learning the game. The dual fight in consecrated snowfield might be the toughest one but it pales in comparison to the secret Night's Cavalry at the end of the snowfield who uses a St. Trina's Torch

Phantom Slash would be perfect since the phantom is actually a Night's Cavalry! It's weirdly good in duels, actually, since you can free aim it for safety and delay the follow up for roll catching. Good on Cold builds. I would love to see it in a future build - maybe a Stand user build? 😅

There are some good AoWs that drop from these dudes, it would kinda be on-theme even if they don’t personally use them as far as I’m aware. Phantom Slash, Giant Hunt, Bloodhound Step, maybe another one I can’t think of. These dudes are a treasure trove of good loot, all that stuff plus their weapons and the armor set

Hey Chase! I just wanted to ask if you could do a Black Flame Monk build? I think that they're super cool enemies, and I would love to see them in invasions too. For the incantations I think it's a shame we can't use black-catch flame that they wield, but I think that Scouring black flame and black flame ritual might be close enough for the build:D

Yeah a black catch flame would be SO cool, but it would be way too strong with the %DoT. You just can’t have a cheap fast spammable black flame spell. Same reason black flame blade is so short and expensive, the effect is just too good. The black flame fireball is already borderline too good for PvE, it annihilates large bosses and you don’t even need good incantation scaling

I've never been able to make sense of them, the night's calvary. They're attacks are too fast and mobile to consistently dodge on horse back, but they're too flighty to hit on the ground. It feels like they're impossible to fight without just trading blows, which feels entirely unsatisfactory.
