Ed took Troy Primeau's "7 pot primo " pepper and called it the Carolina reaper and has NEVER been able to tell you what peppers he used to create the reaper. Pepper X does not live up to the said heat hype, but with such a promotion machine behind it they can keep the hype going so long as there's no way to prove otherwise.

@justinsutter3602 also I wanted to add. On my Orginal website I wrote it as could be an accidental cross before. When I examined all shapes. The red is most consistent in shapes. Tons of the chocolate lots great with that Long Tail. Also notice some of the chocolate has that "L" shape. That threw me off. I do have pictures of select cases of the Red giving that same shape. I've posted that on Facebook years ago. I'll repost a post like this again very soon. However, today is the busiest day of the busiest month of The year for me. Looking in notes. For most color changes I will grow them an extra year to see if they grow the same color. Part of quality control.
