I love this so much. And I love A Star is Born. I've seen this version and the Kristofferson / Streisand version. Both beautiful. Both heartbreaking. This is my favorite version but I have only watched the whole flick once. Now I watch it but turn it off after this scene because it's so painful.

shallows is the titular song, and a banger, but always remember us is the best song on this movie/soundtrack and perhaps lady gagas best song as the character in a movie where she plays herself playing someone else. also, i love saucy italian women, and though i don't like gaga all dolled up and looking like a clown, i do enjoy her earthy look as a regular woman about the world. shes sexy.
