I do believe PSA is more generous with their grading, and with that believe they could be cheaper in value. BGS is more strict but you get a brief explanation as to why your card graded the way it did, (surface score, corners, edges, and centering) making it more comprehensive to the inspector and more valuable to the customer. After discovering the depth of precision TAG has with their grading standards, and the level of interaction they offer through their card tracking services, I expect the value of their pristine and gem mint graded cards to reach or surpass BGS within the next 3-5 years.

With the inconsistency coming through from PSA and Beckett lately, it’s good to know there is another player in the grading game that could be another reliable option. It will just take time for TAG to gain traction but how things are going that might not be a long time. I do think their slabs look nice. Also, thanks for watching 🙏
