Wow that cashier was out of order with his attitude towards you he should know that there’s a pick up point if he wanted the delivery drivers to pick up he should remove the sign not have go at you or other delivery drivers

For the future, I always recommend using the camera app on your phone to take the dropoff pictures, and choose from gallery when asked for a picture. You end up having hundreds of pictures of peoples front doors on your phone, but it eliminates the no connection problem. I also wouldn't stress about the CV. It'll drop off eventually. Keep it up!

The same mistake happened to me where I took a picture at someone elses house because I thought it was a internet connection error, and I contacted uber and they just cancelled the order and paid me in full still. No contract violation or anything.

I slowed down your door transition at 12:55. I'm baffled by how you are doing that. It's seemless even incorperating the the wide angle curve precisely with the edge of the door and frame.

its a super easy process to complete once you do it a couple times.the precision you mention is what takes the longest. some of these door transitions can take me up to an hour to complete is very tedious work but it satisfying when Im done. I tried reaching out to the customer and I did attempt to chat and call but it was greyed out due to the customer beating me to the punch. he contacted customer support before I could get down stairs and have some signal to make the call.

Yup that’s what everyone tells me consistency. And yup I quit my 9 to 5 and I quit taking wedding film work. Saved up enough coin to last me a few years. If I completely bomb and fail at this I can always go back to what I was doing. I’m pretty good at that. I can also find a million other 9 to 5 jobs in the business district here. Just hated being in an office setting all day.

Also the reason they ask you to confirm the order before you leave the store is because the doordasher, or uber eat dude takes the food and just unassigns the delivery getting the food completely free

Same thing happened to be about a week ago. I had just entered the pin number the 1stbcustomer gave me on a double stack, then the app said 'You've arrived. Are you sure it's delivered?' I'm like ofc! I just entered the pin number! So i hit 'Yes, it's delivered' on the app. And the whole trip ended. I'm like wtf? i still have a TGI Friday's order that i haven't delivered. Anyway i called Uber support to tell them the problem and ask for the customers address, so they tried calling the customer, after being on hold for a while, they said they couldn't reach the customer, so dispose of the food items and that i will be compensated for the trip. Anyway i got to enjoy a some TGI Friday's bbq ribs with shrimp noodles and a cv for a report of food not delivered! The second customer was likely nearby. Apps fault but i get blamed

I absolutely love my ebike and mad respect to anyone who does this either as living or to make extra money. I simply couldn't. I use my ebike to literally stay away from people and take long solo trips alone.

Sup bro. Somebody recommended me to you that told me you're local. I live in Kenosha but I drive to Chicago here and there to try DoorDash even though Kenosha's a good market. But that's the problem... I drive. You know how traffic can be in the loop. You ever tried delivering in the suburbs in Lake County like Northbrook or Lake Forest? Hopefully I can try doing it on my electric scooter. But unfortunately I crashed on it when somebody cut me off in Kenosha and caused my accident so I gotta heal and a line to my brakes and motor got cut clean. So I can only ride on single motor with 1 brake. Also one last question... I usually dash around the loop, north side, and PARTS of the west side. Obviously not dashing over by West Garfield since I grew up around there and don't wanna go back. Where do you recommend? I also thought about delivering in Beverly on the south side.

Hey, it's great to connect with you! Traffic in the Loop is rough in a car, I see people making it happen but it's not for me, I don't have the grit. I'm sorry to hear about your scooter accident; I hope you have a speedy recovery and can get back to full riding capacity. Yeah I like to stay around the loop south loop and west loop and Northside. I did Garfield park a few times but I never plan on going back. I have gone as far as 80th st east side of chicago so I don't now what beverly is like at all. I didn't like going as far as 80th people seem to be on edge out there and the tips are garbage. I like to stay above 35th street and even that isn't always great and I like to stay inside of Ashland going west.

The second picture you took was probably doordash app. It's been happening to me lately but I just got with the customer since you can still text them after drop off and explained what happened and got their address.

believe me I tried to contact them, but I had no signal in that building by the time I got down and got someone on the phone the customer already reported the item as not delivered. the phone number and chat for the customer was greyed out. I tried them first then called support.

Delivering with an e-bike may sound slower but I don't think it is in a city like that. Not when you can zip right past cars that are waiting at a red light and actually at times go through the red light. LOL
