Nice video and like the idea of a night tournament that goes that late, My Nephew and I are fishing Gaston this coming week July 10th to the 14th. We are staying at Stonehouse Timber Lodge. We would appreciate any help with lure choices colors and anything else you woukld be willing to share with us. I was also wondering if you ever come to Florida tofish. I happen to live in Palm Bay near Headwaters lake and also Stickmarsh.Have you ever been down to fish eith one of these places.

I bought the boat from a dealer that had the hull replaced under warranty. So the hull is a 2020 and the motor is a 2014 Optimax

Great Video Kevin!! One question. Is their any reason you don’t use hot foot? Myself I don’t like them at all. Y’all got the same stormed we got! We had trees down,power lines down,cable etc! We usually don’t have such a bad storm here in the mountains. But it is what it was! Do you use Balsax on all your reels?

I just prefer the normal control. I feel like I can control the boat better in forward and reverse. Probably just because I'm so used to it

No sense for hotfoot when fishing shallow and smaller waters like this. Hot foot is really only valuable in extremely rough water with big waves making it easier to power over the tops
