Thank you for the motivation and the absolutely wonderful family time. People that may see this video and ha e the draw to get their families ourdoors you dont have to wait until everurhing is perfect or build a rig. Hi I enjoyed watching adventure! I took my family on many adventures with our tent trailer towing with my F150. Now days we pull 25 ft trailer, with a 2017 Tundra. I added the Magunson supercharger and have enjoyed it the low end improvement and increase in fuel milage by about 0.5 mpg. You will it is a worthy investment. I have 98,000 on the rig. This summer went to Mountana, pulled up the passes without any issue!

Kevin, Sarah, Caroline and Abigail! Great stuff here per usual! As I've said a few times over the years Kevin your storytelling and filming is top notch and inspiring. I'm from ohio I just back from my two drive out west (11th straight year) spent several days in your neck of the woods. the aspen back glow was spectacular in this video. my style of filming and photography over the years is that. much more contrast and viewer interest when shooting into the sun. So much fun here on your take a break in the aspens trip here! props and never ever stop filming you are soo talented Kevin! cheers Steve

Ahhhh, those uncomfortable conversations that start from saying a word or phrase before the child is ready to learn about them (or before the parents are ready to teach their kid). Loved that that litte one was swinging her doll in the swing. I just got a RCI transmission slider for my Frontier. Quality product. Gonna give it a workout this weekend up along the east side of the Sierra's.

Did you notice that your door on the trailer was swinging open at 10:49? The suspension on the trailer sometimes sounds like a donkey braying, it cracks me up, I like it. So far it looks like you've done a great job on the Tundra.

The canopy itself is water and dust tight with double seals on the wings. The ingress point is the tailgate where you'll need a quality seal to keep it sealed off. I've been impressed with my current combo.

@LifestyleOverland My family has been watching your material since day one. I've been meaning to ask this to you (and really to all niche KZbinrs). How come you don't sell one hour consults about overlanding? Folks like myself would easily pay you $150 for an hour just to talk about rigs, tires, trailers, routes, suspensions etc. Sounds like the easiest money ever just sitting on the table, just to chat. Unless of course your cash flow is already aplenty.
@LifestyleOverlandАй бұрын
Right now the hardest thing to find is time. It's an average of 70 hours a week to travel, build, maintain, film, edit, and share what goes into a single episode (not to mention the business related tasks and emails for Lifestyle Overland and Overland Provision). With a toddler and puppy keeping us on our toes, any extra time is hard to come by though I really love helping plan builds. Maybe one day! Until then. We do help our patrons work though build ideas on a smaller scale.
@LiveoverlandАй бұрын
so curious about fuel mileage. ive always like the tundras but they do get a bad rap for mpgs then with a supercharger added i could only assume that would decrease it. although in theory more power less engine working it may be better?
@LifestyleOverlandАй бұрын
Still working out the details since I've had a mix of driving but when I correct on paper for tire size I'm seeing 18.1 MPG without the trailer. I'll have to do some GPS measurements and a fill up to confirm.

Separation from gear in our case. No more listening to rattles from things floating about. Plus, if it comes down to it ... Less to worry about in a rollover or crash.

This V8 engine is commonly has head gaskets problem around 200k miles by install a supercharger, you will even get engine problems sooner, the reason why you buy V8 because reliability, why try to make some mistake like the V6 twin turbos engine.

@@LifestyleOverland Very true...the first camping trip I remember as a kid I had a $8 pup tent, no ground pad, and a Kmart sleeping bag...40 years later I've spent less than $7000 to build my 'Home on wheels' and spend more free time using that gear than sitting in my house watching TV...and I only paid $95,000 for the house.
@thonvuth809Ай бұрын
The tundra build is awesome btw. I'm just teasing as you purchased the tundra used (smart) so that leaves you lots of room to do cool upgrades to bring comfort to your family. I personally drive a first gen sequoia, I have tons of space compared to the 5th gen 4runner or 460gx.
