I like the close up on the adapter plate between the old light rail on the siding and the newer heavier 100lb rail

316 gives new meaning to "custom chop nose" or at least it appears to be so.

Wow wow Wow-ww! I love those old engines....even an old high hood...... this looks like it could be Ontario where I live...Love the footage at 2:11...first engine with the long short hood....and the footage around 4:58 and 7:00 ..........

Thank you sir! Yeah the nose on 316 is a custom chop nose, I wish it were still a HH. I hear that 6576 is being sent to the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad up north in Blue Ridge (owned by the same company) so it will probably get a fresh coat of blue paint within the year. Glad you enjoyed!

why so much power on this line??
@cdavid81396 жыл бұрын
GNRR hauls heavy tonnage up significant grades. The power is for the most part old.

Is there a place where you can find a train schedule for the GNRR?
@ICE63658 жыл бұрын
Sorry for taking so long to respond! They usually run one train either north or south every day during the week, but thats not guaranteed. Not much happens on the weekends unless there is a grain train. If you want to join the GNRR Facebook group, they give heads up posts and daily updates about whats happening along the line.
