You had me yelling at the screen, Tom😂 Section 6 in SD's book is pretty helpful to verify how thermistor circuits work, but I'm sure you've already been there, done that. Also Eric O just recently did a video on where a new aftermarket temp sensor was installed on a Chevy pror to coming to him but the sensor was out of the correct range and the pcm wasn't happy. The new aftermarket temp sensor he ordered and installed was also just as faulty/out of range as the previous one, so he ended up getting an OEM sensor and problem solved..something to be aware of, these Chevy's are pretty picky, and yep clear codes after every step or you can think you still have a fault, even when it's actually fixed👍🇦🇺

@@frugalprepper What ? ! I had no idea that had ever ocurred..., Yikes ! I hope nothing like that ever hits my Channel - I'd be totally stonkered. I'm glad you were able to sort it out. I know a bloke with a Tesla, it cost him $92,000, he lives 50 Km out of Town, off-Grid, 2,000 ft down the mountain, and he worked in town. Initially he was Recharging in the Town Hall Carpark, where Council has 1 Charger, with two types of Plug-connectors ; and free recharging...; then he got his new House built (after the 2019 Bushfire), and had enough Panels and Batteries, Charge Controllers and Inverters to Recharge the Tesla - and it's such a Shitkicker size setup it runs his House and recharges his road-registerable Electric Motorcycle as well.... And it cost $49,000 to install enough to recharge a $92,000 Tesla.. Which is a remarkably close match, as a ratio ; with my $2,200 eBike, and the $1,000 worth of PV, Batteries, Charge Controller & Inverter to recharge it with Sunlight... So, if Elon Musk thinks everybody will get to replace having an ICE-powered Car/Truck/Motorbike/ Boat/ 'Plane/ Helicopter/ Cargo-Ship.... with a shiny new Electric Version therof ; then he be either Lying Or Delusional...
