Cheers bro, my auto aim was playing up that day ;) Was only my second outing with the scope cam. Iv redeemed my self in videos since. Iv got a horrible set up. Scope cam gives me an awful shooting position, can't shoulder it tight enough + struggle with the extra weight. Stalking the woods for 8-9 hours like in this vid, n ya arms turn to jelly. New kit coming soon. Cheers bud Andy

Thanks Jeff. Yeah, its still holding up well. I harvested my first squirrel from the hide in my second wild camp video. Keeps me out of the miserable weather we've been having recently. Cheers buddy Andy

The Vermin Huntsman Haha Thanks pal. I know, they really made me work for that first kill. Edited the footage down, but that went on for about 30 minutes. I held my breath so many times I felt like I was guna pass out with lack of oxygen :)

Like your shots on the squizzers although a bit shaky instinct takes over when to release it, and the job is done. thats going to be a nice hide when its topped off, a prone hide ? atb phil
@ClanGunnBushcraft9 жыл бұрын
hunter100t Cheers Phil. Yeah, very shaky. Both first & second shots were taken unsupported & standing. I'm really struggling with the extra weight of the camera & mount plus the shouldering position is uncomfortable, looking at a screen rather than down the scope. I'm sure ill get use to it!? Kinda like a snipers prone hide, but bigger.ill be able to sit up init. Cheers Andy

Ah yes the camera and the seban, they add extra weight dont they, Have you seen the eagle vision camera tubes that screw straight on the scope, very nice but a bit pricey though, I use the seban but I will get the eagle job soon. the hide sounds good, flask of coffee, cheese and beetroot cobs, lovely ;)

hunter100t They do, but its the shooting position that's the worst. Because I'm having to arch back to view the screen, I'm not pulling the rifle into my shoulder right. I feel like Arnie... Shooting at the hip :) I haven't seen the eagle vision tubes, ill check them out. A few weeks back I seen a cam mount that was like a submarines periscope. Camera was on top and you could look down the scope like normal. can't remember what it was called, but I'll have a ganders for that too. Cheers pal

I have seen that periscope thing, I think its close to a grand, shocking ! I couldent get on with the camera screen as well with the weird way of shooting, then I realised the simplest of things, shooting sticks, You can step back from the gun a bit, and get a steady hold, sorted !
@ClanGunnBushcraft9 жыл бұрын
hunter100t I thought the periscope mount would be expensive, but I was thinkin... £60-70. That's disgusting!! Defo on the shooting sticks, never used them before. Need to nip down to the gun shop to get a few bits today, I'll have a look at what they've got. Cheers pal
