Yall are so right with the strip set. The intensity of a big eats just triggers that typical trout set. I went mousing for my first time a couple weeks ago (under NVGs it was sick af) and missed about a dozen yuge strikes.

dang, I need friends to go fishing 🤣. I still afraid of fly fishing, first and last time I tried it, I hooked myself in the finger and needed an insition to get the hook out.

Haha, barbed hooks definitely aren't fun, I usually clip off the barbs, so if i hook myself, it comes out easy! @luisrosario432 welcome to Utah!!! As far as brown trout go, they are in almost every river system here. The provo river has a ton of them! I also do Flyfishing lessons/guiding if you are interested
