Another super quality video. Mike is one of the best Flyfishing guides of NZ, together with Alex Waller.

I like the way Mike is nymphing. No indicator! I hate indicators, almost never use them (only in real deep pools). Notice at minute 3 how he get his trout online. That, ladies and gentlemen, is superb flyfishing skills.

It wasn't Mike but his buddy, but anyway, excellent fishing.

What a day for fly fishing! Great scenery, blue skies and a crystal clear river. What more could you want! Tom took a lot on himself crossing the river. But what wouldn't you do for such a big brown trout? And for me as an amateur, it's a little reassuring when professionals can also lose fish😉😉. Mike, another great film.

Thanks so much! There are two groups in fly fishing, one who lose fish and the other lie about it!

Greetings Mike, Vince from Colorado/Wyoming. What percentage of your fishing is sight fishing? sight fishing is definitely an Art. Your Narration is valuable information and always enjoy your videos. 👊

Cheers! More than 90% is sight fishing for us. It's more like hunting than fishing in many ways
