Hi Wildcard. Love your show ! You seemed surprised at the Boks calling themselves Wild Dogs. Wild Dogs are a specie of wild animals found in South Africa. They hunt their prey in packs, running the animal tired and savagely ripping pieces of flesh from the animal while they chase it down and kill it.

They are actually far more dangerous hunters than hyenas. Hyenas mainly scavenge while wild dogs are incredibly good and relentless pack hunters.

@@zanderprinsloo7493 Although that's true to an extent, and nat geo gets it wrong alot, hyaenas do pull down and rip the kak out of running prey too quite alot. The dogs of course have the stamina to keep it up for much longer. I think the painted dogs got very lucky and hanged in just long enough to win the feast. A dominant force I don't think so. Dominant teams dominate, we did not do that. But we ate and some say that is enough. Edging in at the death of every game we play will loose us more games in the long run.
