I'm thrilled to find a video with information and history...what I wouldn't give to have those many hours back. The minute I see green and black surrounding folks running into each other in the dark - saying, "Did you hear that?"...I'm outa there.

Aren’t we all very lucky to have such ‘experts’ as Dr Braithwaite to be able to explain away all the phenomena that people perceive as ghosts and so dispel our fears? Some will say ‘just because you believe it, doesn’t make it true’, however the flip side to that is ‘just because you don’t believe doesn’t mean mean it isn’t possible’. “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy” - Hamlet

The problem is that if you don't believe in the paranormal in the first place, then they will go out of their way to prove that it ISN'T paranormal, just like people will go out of their way to prove that it IS paranormal.

Put me up in Muncaster for a week solo. I'll confirm one way or another. This sort of thing doesn't bother me, for or against, and it wouldn't be the first time that I have been locked down in an old building for a night or two. I have to admit, I love the graphics to some of these segments. Why can't we get graphics like those in Video Games?

So this entire documentary is trying to disprove the afterlife? I'm only 15 minutes in but that seems to be the general direction in which this is heading... what a drag. I happen to know for a fact that the paranormal exists, and I'm a completely logical, intelligent person. There is nothing in here that can explain away the activity that I've experienced. Regardless of that, what if there really wasn't anything after death? Even if millions of people were using their beliefs as a crutch to be able to cope with the inevitability of death, so what? You would devote your career to proving them wrong and depriving them of that comfort? What a bunch of assholes. Luckily for us believers, spirits are real.

Very much agree. All my siblings experienced paranormal activity in our childhood home, me included. During 2 WW there where lots of camps with prisoners of war beside our home, i didnt know anything about this at the time, and i saw things thst explained it all when I was told about it as an adult. My brother being all alone jn the house one night experienced the handle of the door moving up and down, and could never stay home alone after that. Ofcourse there are explanations of many incidents, and I always think of a natural cause, but there are many things that can just not be explained, and its really silly to watch sceptics trying to debunk situations that are so obviously unexplainable

Nothing wrong with scary stories to make folks get chicken skin. Power of the mind to create ghosts from out of routine, sounds. Nothing more fun as a skeptic, then setting up believers by “making” things happen on tours. Grew up the oldest of 7. Is Zeus, as the Titans ghosts? And if King Sisyphus promoted navigation and commerce but was avaricious and deceitful because he killed guests and travelers in his palace, to end up cheating death as the one and only, if is it considered a rule to become a vampire or even a werewolf, the person has to first dye. I expect his name is originally Frost as the family seated at Muncaster is usually referred to as the Pennington family. It is extremely common in gentry and aristocratic families where there is entailed property for a husband of an heiress to assume her family name or add her name to his own

You only need to suggest something is haunted/paranormal & people will start to feel, see & experience things all of a sudden. Bcs ypu suggested it, people will look for it/expect it & after that our brain will explain all new things as something paranormal.. Here it's in the name = people will go there expecting/hoping to experience something "paranormal" i bet 99% of them are believers already the rest will fall on the suggestion part.. People who believe in ghosts, will think everything were it's isn't clear right away what happened & why, is paranormal.. logical explanations are completely ignored.. You want it to be true..
