I love the Cotswolds. I am happy to find this channel. I stayed in Guiting Power in 2021. The B&B we stayed at was very active at night. I don’t know what the story was behind the haunting but in our room furniture kept moving, the door kept opening, there were footsteps back and forth in the room and something sat on the end of our bed several times. The area is gorgeous.

I've watched a number of your videos, because of the attraction to England, and your voice. I'm 50, and have always been attracted to these. I am drawn to the Old Time Radio and own a 1940's replica radio. Autumn, Halloween, and the Paranormal are all that I long for and love! I also smoke a pipe periodically, and imagine listening to this back in the 30's and 40's. Look forward to many more of your shows, and hopefully a 2023 Halloween show! Hi! Just found you tonight when unable to sleep. What a treasure: your voice and your stories! I will definitely hunt them out! Have always been a big Hallowe’en fan & hope you have some 2023 tales. I just turned 72 by the way. Living in the Great White North in Cambridge, Ontario. I so miss British voices VERY MUCH! The person in my childhood who showed me the most love was my Gran from Folkestone in Kent. She was very open minded & tuned into a lot of things that my school friends’ grandmothers would probably have never heard of. She saw a lot including joining the Wrens during World War I when she was 17. I’m trying to be discreet about some of her interests which became my interests as I got older. I’m sure she had a lot of stories that I would’ve loved to hear. I just adored her! She married my grandfather who was serving in France in his veterinary corps (he was a farmer from Quebec); so, she was a war bride from the First World War. My whole life I’ve wanted to go to England, Scotland and Wales! This is a real treat for me to have found your channel! I am mostly bedridden go now. Have a wonderful Hallowe’en & thank you so much for your lovely programme!

I put these on when my 10mo old son is ready for bed. "Tell me a story, make it creepy, something nice to make me sleepy" 😊 Clearly it runs in the family but really I think we just appreciate a good voice. I don't know how I ended up with this in my feed since I live in VT but it's far superior to the ghost stories I'm usually stuck with!

10 months old is one thing but as he gets older please make sure you’re exposing him to age appropriate content. Children can vary in their reactions to spooky things but it’s totally possible for a kid to be traumatized by scary adult stories, movies, etc.

It’s funny you mention ‘a sleepless night’, because I was having one today. I was drowsily listening to this story half awake/ half asleep, when I awoke more fully to listening then stopped the video and read some of the comments. I found this tail and this comment more interesting, because I didn’t have you tube on when I went to sleep, in fact I didn’t have my iPad on, either…. So how did this ghost story start playing to me, by itself,😢 at 1:30 am, in a very cold bedroom with the wind blowing a gale outside? Good job I’m not superstitious…

Happy Halloween from Canada's most haunted city - Victoria, B.C. ! Thanks for your enchanting tales. I am fascinated by these tales, which capture history and tell of the fears of the area. Most tales keep alive terrible events, making me often feel so much sorrow for the victims, er, um, ghosts. But I do enjoy the time travels when one " encounters" friendly spirits seemingly still attached to their environment. What do you suppose makes one able to experience ghost sightings? Some might say a variety of elements from suggestions, overimaginative minds, or perhaps actual sensitivity. Fascinating to me are those who encounter ghosts before knowing that it is a ghost and without any prior knowledge of the ghost. Big fan here, since last year. My family came from the area and I hope one day to visit. Cheers💐

Watching from cirencester, Cotswolds! Looking for inspiration for things to do and see next weekend. I know the ragged cot, my friend worked there for years. He never saw a ghost though. Cirencester cathedral is the most stunning and beautiful cathedral I've ever seen. Just beautiful, inside you can feel the history... love it there. I know the building opposite the church, used to be a solicitors, it has a little courtyard.. the top floor there is definitely haunted and by something unpleasant. My husband, my mum and myself have all felt it independently and my husband is the most unbelieving of anyone I know

Watching from America ,lived near Winchester Mystery house. Went on tour there on the hottest day of the year,bad idea. Cramped halls ,narrow stairwells ,and no air conditioning. I got dizzy had to leave early. Never saw a ghost either.

I have lived in Montpellier spa road and Lansdown in Cheltenham. Both flats were haunted - the former by a black shadow lurking around. The latter had something that used to move our furniture and play with our guitar Infront of us and friends. A shadow was seen standing in the bedroom corner in the middle of the night. A friend who stayed over whilst we were away saw the same thing but in the other corner.
