Ok and so on so forth,I seen on Desert Deb, the new automobile overpass is open 10 th of July,(check your local listings )over the east end of the Barstow train rail yard, this overpass bridge is on First street, and they say they are taking down the good ol rivet Trussell bridge, been there from the beginning,we came over that bridge in the 60s for the first time , thanks BigAl California.

UP 5909 at 23:22 is a newly rebuilt C44ACM (GE built AC4400CW, AC6000CW, C44ACCTE; modernized by GE/Wabtec 2018-current). When you see a locomotive with a new $30,000 paint job, you can bet that is not the only thing done to it.

That's the UP 4014 Big Boy, and it won't be coming this way. It came through Vegas-Yermo-Barstow-L.A. in 2019. The closest it will get to Mojave this time is Roseville.

Yes. It came from Cheyenne, through the Feather River to Roseville. It will return over Donner taking a slightly different route through Cal-Nev-Utah, and return to Cheyenne
