We had one more morning in Arkansas and despite the drought, we were determined to see a waterfall, regardless of flow. Eden falls had been on the radar to start with and the suggestions of our friends back at the campground, it was the obvious choice. We set our expectations of a powerful majestic waterfall aside and set out to see what this trail had to offer. The tunnel and caves were suppose to be the redeeming features however the waterfall wasn't disappointing.
The Hike:
Distance: 2.3 mi.
Elevation Gain: 252 ft.
This trail is an out and back that begins very easy and becomes more moderate as you proceed. The cave requires some scrambling, getting wet, and come prepared with a headlamp. Expect slick rock surfaces.
