Spring Day Hiking at Knob Noster State Park

Determined to hike, we snuck away from our every day lives and took an afternoon to hit the trail. With Spring upon us, we wanted to take in all the new blooms and fresh green. While Knob Noster State Park is not exactly a park of grandeur, the beauty of this park can be found in the small, intimate ways that require you to stop, slow down and take them in with purpose.
We connected the Hawk's Nest Trail, Clearfork Woodland Trail and the Buteo Trail for our first section. With daylight and energy left we squeeze in one more trail, the Discovery Trail, before calling it quits.
