​@@jakew6162Normally I hate retcons, but I would love a retcon if they reveal Spidercide Parker was using his weird DNA to influence Ben Parker since his return, and the Chasm incident simply allowed Spidercide to block out more of Ben's identity while gaining more power. Spidercide always had a sick obsession with Ben, so this would totally be believable.

Then in Chasm: Curse of Kaine. Spider-Cide teams up with Druig to ruin Ben life even more. Janine finds out Spider-Cide is one of the causes behind of Ben’s downward spiral. Kaine found Janine and finds out a way to get Ben being immune from getting mind control by anyone. Spider-Cide exits out of Ben’s head and escapes alongside with Druig before Spider-Cide escapes he creates a bunch of decrease villains with his dna.
