About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

I love watching the chateau come to life.. and have been watching a few years now.. but I have to say to me.. the trim color seems odd. The gold leaf trims you have done look great!!! The wood panels trim looks plastic to me ... too dark.. and doesn't seem to accent the faux wood painted panel very well.. or enhance it. Maybe once you get it all up it will look better.. but for now.. I am feeling unsure. At the end of the day.. I don't have to be happy about the end result.. you all do... and Terry seems to feel it will be just what he wants and is very happy with it.. and I am happy for him and the family. They are putting so much love and hard work into each room.. and it shows.

Incredible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Terry and Tracy the layers of paint techniques on the motif mouldings designs, heating first flattening to desired size, then the painting the stains, then the gold paint mixing two to finally make a really pure gold leaf colour paint which creates the desired colour of beautiful gold leaf. Posh Chalk, fantastic perfect pure gold finish. To now paint the final, many, tiny little crosses. The painting of the panels details with the stains completes this unique room A fairytale of gold powder flying around the room, Patrick enjoying a Wonderland of gold Awe and Wonder....
